I played Oregon Trail game for 3-4 minutes, and pong game for 10 minutes. The Oregon Trail was one of the most played computer games at that time, but I had more fun with Pong. The reason why people enjoyed Oregon Trail might be, it has so many options and there is no answer. So you can customize this game context. And (I’m not sure but I think) when you choose other options, you will see other context. So if you play 10times, you will have 10 context with this computer came. Also this is just my thought, at that time, people were getting reacher and became to travel all around the world. So they wanted to have experience that related to travel.
The reason why I liked Pong more than Oregon Trail is, first of all, I don’t need to think anything when I play the game. Also Oregon trail has too much things to read for every single page, and I am not used to read these old computer font (text). Further more, I could play “Pong” with my friend so it is still good game to spend some time.
