inclusive design

The recent interaction I have is using google drive, and that’s very interesting because I never think about using google drive with a disability. There are a lot of different kinds of disabilities, and I guess the only way to solve the problem for all human beings will be a machine that can read the human’s mind directly, so scratch that, I’ll focus on the people that were missing limbs. So if we can’t use our hands, the voice will be the best solution, in my opinion. In my imagination, it will be like this: “Put image CutePuppy021 in one family two pets three Max.” so you will call out the thing that you are moving then the folder you want to put. If there are multiple layers of folders, you will say this in order: one (first layer name) two (second layer name)…

After the video we watched for this week, I feel like there’s way more variety for the people with disability that I can learn and look into. Still, probably because one of my very first projects in interaction design is about designing a kiosk that’s for disabled people free, so I’m really used to thinking about different possible issues people could have while using my design. So I guess the video this week gives me a broader vision of how we could design for disabled people.
