From my perspective, we can learn a lot of useful things from these multidisciplinary mid-century designers. They are exposed to many different fields and disciplines and have a wide range of mindsets. Their different professional knowledge together influences their designs. As a young generation of designers, we should try to contact and learn different disciplines and fields, and use what we learn in our own fields and works. For example, as a student studying interaction design, I like to learn about graphic design. Graphic designers create visual concepts, using computer software or by hand, to communicate ideas that inspire, inform, and captivate consumers. These are also very helpful to me in interaction design.
