What interactions had to become available for Web 2.0 and how is this different than today?

When the internet made a progress to the phase of Web 2.0 where publishers and users or users and users can communicate each other through the web with multimedia, a lot of changes in interfaces and methods for interactions were required in order to have smoother communications. For example, blog and company websites, that includes image/video sharing can be listed. I remember my father used to make a lot of blog posts about his classic jazz audio collections when I was in elementary school. He tells us proudly whenever another users(probably another audio collector somewhere in the world) reached him out by leaving a comment in his blog. The user interactions in blogs and business websites can be categorized as create/share content, communication and collaboration. In terms of multimedia sharing, today’s social networking such as X(twitter), instagram, and facebook, etc. are very similar but it is faster and handles way more heavy files and millions of user interactions. In addition to the capabilities, today’s social networking includes live streaming. I think that the development of live streaming, live news/TVs, and broadcasting and simplification of process for users to create their content on the web completely differentiate itself from the early web.
