What are the ethical responsibilities of interaction designers to their end users?

In my opinion, our responsibilities as interaction designers in terms of serving users are the fact that we are basically manipulating users’ behavior. My understanding of relationship between users and designers is that users are not behaving on designed product, but more that users are forced to behave in the designed product. Of course, it is important to be able to state all the fundamentals of usability and heuristic key words, such as accountability, accessibility, etc… But I also think that it is important for each designers to have their own design value and own comprehension on top of the basic fundamentals, especially because us, designers are also humans and must’ve went through some ethical issues in the past. Those who knows what is ethically wrong and right through their experience tend to express ethical responsibility in their design even more than those who just learned the ethical responsibility through educational program, and when each of them collaborates in the place like company and project team, it would create creative and ethically responsible design products, I believe.
