Darcy DiNucci

Darcy DiNucci is a web designer, author and expert in user experience. As a head of user experience at Ammunition, DiNucci focuses on designing end-to-end experiences that crystalize a business’s value for the people who engage with it. DiNucci’s work has been instrumental in the success of projects for Adobe, Intel, the University of California, Williams-Sonoma, and many others ranging from Fortune 500 brands to start-up enterprises. Prior to joining Ammunition, DiNucci was vice president of user experience for Method, and has led UX programs for top design firms including Adaptive Path, Sequence, and Smart Design (Silva).

So far, we knew that she wrote a lot of books before she came into her current position as Vice President of Method. The books and articles she wrote are Adobe Master Class, Web Site Redesigns: Makeovers from Nine Top Design Teams,  Macromedia Flash Interface Design: Twelve Effective Interfaces and Why They Work,  Fragmented Future, and The Macintosh Bible. For nine years, she was working on her writing projects instead of designing independently. Afterwards, she began to manage at her current position at Ammunition.

In her article, Fragmented Future, she coined Web 2.0 and addressed its influences in public relations. The term Web 2.0 refers to the creation process of the website in which the content of the websites is generated and shared mainly by the users themselves. Her devotion to design is profoundly influential to today’s design.

  1. This is my first time hear the term ‘end to end experience.’ This is an interesting study of customer experience.
