Donaldson keeps putting her efforts into the business of medical construction in some of the developing world’s most annoying issues. Especially on solving jaundice, designing, and creating prosthetic limbs. In her TED talk video Revolutionary design for good: Krista Donaldson at TEDxStanford, she throws out many inspirations to the audience about how people should combine technology with the real world. It is undoubtedly that she did excellent work on incorporating technology to problems solving in developing areas. Furthermore, she also mentioned in the TED talk video that some designs with good intentions are unsatisfied with user needs.(TEDxTalks)
According to the picture shown above, Donaldson strives for treating severely jaundiced babies who are not able to afford the therapy.
