The objective is to journey across the West in a wagon with the player party in hopes of making it to Oregan. The player can begin the game as one of three jobs, which sets the difficulty level. The more money user has at the beginning, the easier the journey. While playing the game, the player needs to make sure that doesn’t tire out oxen or run out of food along also the trail provides many landmarks, and the player party can also get sick, injured, or even die. I felt that this game is realistically simulating the journey, but it provides the player with many of the real landmarks along the way many of the people players talk to along the way. It was my first time playing the Organ Trail and I had to try again a few times before I succeeded but it was more fun than I thought it was just a retro game.
