Tell the truth, I didn’t get attracted by the Oregon Trail that much. Because I am not a fan of a computer game and I already tried several games that really fancy and cool, I get bored within several ’day’ rounds. (am I the only one?)
From my point of view, the game is organized pretty well with a complete story set. The game leaves a huge space for the unforeseen and uncertainty to the player, which lets the user feels excited and during the adventure.
Users can use this 2D game to escape from the reality. Additionally, as the game is based on the human-world story, users still don’t feel too visional when they play the game.
I think thats a super interesting point that the game serves as an escape, while also being grounded in a human-centered story
