Christopher Alexander creates the design pattern based on his observation of architecture, urban design, and community livability. I think there is some similarity between the design pattern and interaction design. Here I am using the demo from the Visible Language Workshop as an example.
In #41 Work Community, Christopher suggests that workplaces must not be too scattered, nor too agglomerated, but clustered in groups of about. In the demo, we can see all the names of the user are group together, which make us clear about all the information and structure.
Christopher also mentions that the workplaces should contain a mix of jobs, such as desk jobs, craft jobs, and selling. In the demo, we are able to search for information, view information and edit information.
Nice catch! The screenshot helps me to understand
It great to see you include images to help to convey your ideas!
I like how you backed yourself up using specific examples from the Visible Language Workshop. Also glad you included the photos for reference!
