I MUST compare those UIs!

Those early days demo are so so exciting! I always want to compare the Mac and the Windows UI for so long and now I know that I have to do it! Yeah!

For me, Mac provides more freedom for users to experience different kinds of functions, such as font and wallpaper. As a beginner user of Mac, I just learned from the video that how to organize the desktop. It seems this feature is well developed back to 1984 so it is always available.
As comparison, the Xerox tend to be more organized. I have been used Windows for a long time and feel comfortable with the functionality, but I didn’t realize that the UI was so limited when the user did commands back to 1982. Base on the layout of the desktop, the layout was not as flexible as Mac desktop, but I like it because it looked more ordered.

To my surprised, Mac also had a build-in 3D modeling program! As an Industrial Designer, this is the earliest program I have ever seen. There were 4 sections of views and, even though the speed of the system reaction was kinda slow, a basic 3D model could be created pretty easily with smooth flow in several steps.

However, Mac has limitations on multitasking for sure. In 1984, the user doesn’t have the access to do some different actions together. Xerox, on the other side, shown more availability when user do actions and transitions.
