In the TEDx talk about the history of books, there are a couple historical inconsistencies. The first one I found was about the claim that the codexes from Greece and Mesoamerica was the first written book, created in the 4th century and the 11th century respectively. However, in the 3rd century, Sumerians in Mesopotamia had written the Epic of Gilgamesh, which is more widely considered the first book. Depending on what one defines as the main, distinctive characteristics of a book versus another piece of writing, this can be considered a historical error. Additionally, Johannes Gutenberg was credited with the advent of the printing press, but Chinese monks were using them 600 years and Koreans 200 years before Europeans did. Gutenberg was not the but a source of the printing press.
