The Impact of Online Learning

As many students across the world face the problem of social distancing and needing to focus on online learning options, we must make the best use of this circumstance and benefit from it. According to Aytekin Isman, the issue of the students interaction in the virtual classroom is a very prevalent issue.

The current circumstance we are in is a first in history. Students have been used to travelling to class and having a learning atmosphere to focus on their studies. However due to Covid19, learning strategies have changed.

“Understanding of multiple perspectives of students in the online learning environment is a sensitive issue that needs to be considered for the success of virtual learners in the online learning process.” Isman states that every student learns differently, and teachers must cater to their class to have a beneficial learning environment. Her research findings show that many students are struggling with similar issues revolving around the online learning system. Such issues include: too many new tools being used for class, enjoyment and having a good environment with work with fellow classmates, and finding the will to get assignments done in this relaxed area of studying.
