Ada Lovelace was called the first author of a computer program. When 1833, Charles Babbage, as known as the father of the computer, invited Ada to see the prototype of the difference engine. This machine changed Ada’s life. Her talent for intellect and analytic skills made Babbage named her “The Enchantress of Number.” Also because helping translating the article about the Analytical Machine, the newer machine prototype by Babbage, Ada showed her dismissal of AI.
Although some biographers, computer scientists, and historians of computing claim that Ada shouldn’t be referred to as the first computer programmer, I see Ada as one of the pioneers of program and AI.
I think besides Babbage, there are also other male that had great influences on Ada, such as her father, and other scientists.
