Listen! Listen! Can’t you hear them?

We seek for a positive ethical role

In the age of big data, we often hear our friends and family members talking about how they are worrying about their safety, from cameras on their phone and laptop, to their personal information; from how to make sure their uber/lyft driver is safe, to online dating. As designers we need to take responsibility and seek every opportunity to secure our user’s privacy, for example, educating and warning users in dangerous situations, and improving ways in rightfully storing user information.

We hear you, we design for you

We recognize cultural differences. Respect cultural differences and value everyone’s beliefs. We do as much user research as possible, learning target users’ pain points, habits, needs. We don’t only go for aesthetics and forget what we are designing for.  Really figuring out what users need and what they think needs to be removed. Also, it is my belief that art works could be very personal and it doesn’t even  have to have any meaning, while doing designs needs to be way more thoughtful since design holds the power of changing the way people think.

  1. I like your stance and your perspective with cultural differences. Respect is a great value to have for modern designers.

  2. I like your point of respecting cultural differences and your will need to do a huge amount of researches to make that happen. I really suggest you to join a strong team.

  3. I love how you put ethical role at the first. I think if you talk about your personal experience, philosophy, and belief, using “I” is more powerful.
