Today’s Sci-Fi Shows, Tomorrow our life?

By looking at those Science Fiction television shows, it brings out a lot of really cool idea of how technology in the future might look like. Even though some of them are kind of too futuristic, we might not see them in a short time. However a lot of them are already in progress, some of them even happen in our world.

I had already seen the Black Mirror one a few years ago, the design of cellphone and how the system or that kind of social media work is kind of cool and strange. But after a few years, today’s cellphone is already looking pretty similar to the one that in the show; And the system that rates each other is already being used in some part of the world. the only thing that hasn’t happened is those data haven’t been showing to the public. We still don’t have a contact lens to show you all the information about another person.

I think those technology shown in the show are all pretty interesting, just like full-screen smartphone and contact lens that show information. But they need to design and use it in the right way. If today every one use rate or score quickly known the person, that might miss so many interactions with other humans. And if everyone can be rate by other people the value of “self-understanding” will be lost.
We are close to at less the world in the Black Mirror – there is still some distance to get to

We are almost going to reach the world in the Black Mirror – there is still some distance to get to The Feed versus Altered Carbon level – we will also need to pay a lot to reach that kind of world. So we need to all understand things, we need to use those technologies in the right way and need to be careful of it. Otherwise, we will lose our privacy, interaction with people in human, and chance to understand other people, also some of our freedom. I don’t want to be put in jail just because I say a few bad words.

  1. I cannot live in a world where ratings determine relationships. I think it’s disrespectful to humanity.
