Artificial intelligence (AI) is the talk of our society these days. Artificial intelligence has become common around us, but it has begun to replace people in many other areas, including relatively low-skilled driving and moving goods from warehouses. People are taking artificial intelligence naturally in their daily lives. The day is not long before the artificial intelligence system can be more productive and cheaper than humans. Can Artificial Intelligence Replace Designers?
Design for AI
Many of the modern designers’ roles have focused on the development of interfaces based on user experience. Today, they say that these interactions have expanded beyond the screen to voice and are moving from space contexts to the Natural UI (NUI) that enables users to understand their intentions and communicate. Beyond helping AI find what it needs through its search engine on the screen, it is also moving towards recognizing individual situations and suggesting what it needs. Although industries are moving to enable multi-assistance to make suggestions perfect, the interaction between assistant and user is often not perfect. Therefore, reducing the gap between these users and AI interactions may also be a role for designers today.
Design with AI
Through the development of these technologies, AI may be able to work together as a collaborator. By deriving and applying user-specific parameters through various algorithm techniques and advanced AI technologies, computer-based designs can also serve as today’s curators who choose from the multiple forms that have occurred to them.
Ethics of AI
AI technology can be used conveniently, but it can be used by making fake news or making fake composite pictures if it is abused. Also, if algorithms are constructed without considering different races and classes, they may be left out. The ethical responsibilities that designers should have in this new era, and through this will be essential for designers to accept diversity without prejudice from society.

You make a very good point that AI technology can be used conveniently, but it can be used by making fake news or making fake composite pictures if it is abused.
I think your thought “AI may be able to work together as a collaborator” is quite interesting. However, if AI reaches a high level of design ability, it might be a challenge for future designers to think about the next step.
