Virtual Reality with Full Sensory

Virtual reality aims to make users experience an alternative existence, which isolates them as far as possible from the real world. This artificial illusion prioritizes user-centered control, replicating users’ behavior and gestures. Virtual reality devices such as Oculus Rift and HTC Vibe support vision, sound, and touch with accompanied controllers and headsets.
Virtual reality with full sensory will maximize the experience of the replicated reality with immersive sensories. It would track the movement and vision that allow us to feel natural as we behave in the real world. Creating a full environment for virtual reality will provide an adaptive view of users’ comfort. Hand tracking technology uses cameras to track users’ finger motion and hand movement. This technology ditches a physical controller, giving more freedom with gestures personalized for each user and ensures natural movement. To provide a more realistic experience, using electrical stimuli might create a signal to evoke feedback to humans. With these techniques, I think these technologies could allow users to enjoy the hyper-reality.
This immersive experience could be applied to the healthcare industry, which provides a virtual space for people with disabled sensories to have an experience of full sensories. This might offer them to experience the experience that was limited by disabilities. This virtual session might help doctors to figure out a solution to fix the disabled sensories. It would offer the chance to injured patients to simulate recovery practices.
Virtual reality could make people create a community where they share their opinions and build a connection within the isolated existence, which I think will provide a lively atmosphere to the artificial world.
There would be a possible danger in transmitting electricity to reconstruct and deliver sensories simultaneously to the artificial world. However, once safety is ensured, it would be exciting to dive into the virtual environment, which might be another real-life with a synthetic identity.

  1. woah, freaky! I feel like this is where gaming will go before it becomes a house-hold application outside of entertainment. But at the same time i’m not sure i’m ready to feel my video games!!!

  2. i like your idea of exploring the VR technology to the healthcare field since usually VR is applied to the entertainment industry.
