Valuable assets for a better designer

Dreyfuss appealed the Human-centred design, focusing on how people enhance their life’s security using the design and minimize the impact on people’s fluidity behavior. His principle affected the products to be human-friendly in terms of safety. The round edge of tables or the rubber cover for corners is to avoid the injury from sharp edges. Eames suggested implementing daily life and fun into their design process is what they could produce a wide range of media and designs. The Eames produced films, and some cardboard works, which they said it was fun to do. This employment of diverse sources to the design is what I think the designers should have.
Moreover, having fun while doing design might initiate more ideas and suggestions, which we could work the best out by prototype and iterations. As an interaction designer, different sounds, textures, and visuals will be valuable assets to the creative process. With these accumulated resources, we may better understand users, which may help us empathize deeper. The various data and experiences from multiple situations may lead us to be a broad thinker like Dreyfuss and Eames.

  1. i agree with you that with continuous iterations and developing the prototypes, users may receive a better experience and designers can be inspired with more ideas.
