Discovering opportunities for rapid innovation is understanding “people,” not “users.” Thus a sound knowledge of psychological principles and research provides a perfect basis for it. User empathy skills can be difficult to master, but they can be improved. Therefore, I thought that having critical thinking based on knowledge of human psychology could help for design.
