Regarding changes in the graphical user interface

The changes in the graphical user interface (GUI) today encompass various aspects, such as the window menus and icons which have become more intuitive through recent modifications. For instance, the windowed interface in current Windows systems has evolved from the visual system originally invented by Xerox. The transparent window style introduced in Windows 7 was considered modern at the time and remains timeless even in current systems. In terms of the core functionality, there have been no significant changes compared to past interfaces; aspects like the desktop layout and intuitive design remain aligned with their original design objectives. An area requiring improvement is the adaptation to a wider range of devices. Nowadays, the presence of larger or unusually sized screens may lead to interface distortion, necessitating tailored design solutions for these specific devices.
