It is important to consider Gestalt principles when designing interactive software. This way, the interface feels more natural. For me, this means grouping elements together, making them easier to understand, using consistent icons and colors, and making sure important elements stand out against the background. In relation to Fitts’s Law, this means making buttons large enough to be easily clickable and placing commonly used controls where they can be quickly reached. I feel that combining these ideas helps create a smoother, more user-friendly experience.
